3. Who this applies to
This privacy notice applies to:
- visitors to our website;
- persons who contact us by email or otherwise online;
- customers and prospective customers.
Essential website functions and processing related to contact requests are covered by this notice. Separate consent is required for analytics cookies (see section 5).
4. What data we process
We may process the following data, among others:
- name, email address and other content you provide in your message for contact requests;
- technical data (e.g. IP address, browser, operating system) logged by the server or hosting for troubleshooting, security and service availability;
- your cookie preference (stored in the browser’s local storage).
Google Analytics 4 is used only if you have given consent in the cookie banner:
- anonymised or pseudonymised IP address;
- device-related identifiers (e.g. a user ID formed via cookies);
- browser and device data (browser, operating system, screen resolution);
- website usage data (pages visited, visit duration, referrer, approximate geographic location).
Legal bases for processing contact requests and customer relationships may include contract, legitimate interest or law. The legal basis for analytics is consent (GDPR Article 6(1)(a)).
5. Cookies and analytics
This site uses cookies and similar technologies. Cookies are divided into essential and optional (analytics). Optional cookies are set only with your consent.
5.1 Essential
These are required to remember your cookie choice. We do not use them for tracking or advertising. Your choice is stored in the browser’s local storage.
5.2 Analytiikka (Google Analytics 4)
We use Google Analytics 4 to analyse visitor numbers, traffic sources and page popularity. Providers are Google Ireland Limited and Google LLC (United States). Analytics cookies are not loaded until you accept them.
We use IP anonymisation. We do not use Google Analytics for ad targeting and do not automatically combine analytics data with contact form data.
The legal basis for analytics is consent (GDPR Article 6(1)(a)). Google may process data outside the EU/EEA; transfers rely on appropriate safeguards such as EU Standard Contractual Clauses. More on Google’s processing: Google Privacy Policy ja Google SCCs.
5.3 Giving and withdrawing consent
On your first visit you will see a cookie banner where you can accept analytics cookies or choose essential cookies only. You can change your choice at any time via the gear icon in the bottom-right corner, the Cookie settings link in the site footer, or by clearing your browser cookies and local storage.
Withdrawing consent does not affect the lawfulness of data collected while consent was given. If you withdraw analytics consent, no new analytics cookies will be set; previously set cookies may remain until they expire or you remove them manually.
6. Retention and disclosures
We retain personal data only as long as needed for the purposes in this notice or as required by law. Contact messages are kept for the customer relationship and, where needed, for accounting or statutory obligations.
Your cookie choice remains in the browser until you remove it or clear browser data. Google Analytics data is retained per Google’s settings (by default up to 14 months at user level, unless settings are changed).
We do not sell personal data. Data may be processed by trusted IT and hosting providers. For analytics, data is shared with Google as a processor. Where necessary, data may be transferred outside the EU/EEA with adequate safeguards.
7. Your rights
You may have the right to access, rectify and erase data, object to or restrict processing, withdraw consent and port data in certain situations (GDPR). You can withdraw analytics consent in cookie settings (see section 5.3). Other requests: info@trinitywebsite.com. You may lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority (in Finland tietosuoja.fi, Virossa Andmekaitse Inspektsioon).
8. Changes
We may update this notice. The current version is published on this page.
